Decorating your Christmas Tree2010.05.18. // Accessories
Have you ever looked at department store’s windows and also wonder how they made their Christmas Trees looking almost perfect? Well, that is not nearly as difficult as how they look. The main tree does not really matter a lot but my favorite is a fat rounded kid with many branches which has spaces between but there is not so much that you can see through these branches. When it comes to the lighting, it does not matter what ever is the kind of lights you use, just make sure to get enough lights to cover well the entire Christmas Tree. If you want to add ornaments, it is advisable to get lesser lights and more sparkles. Most people bury the lights inside the branches, just a bit. You may then add the lights while you are putting up the branches for about couple of rounds per layer. This way, you can add some sense of depth into the tree with the few glowing lights that are hidden inside your Christmas tree’s branches. Wrap the lights into each branches while you are assembling Artificial Christmas Trees. But if you are going to use a real one, it needs to have lights that are buried inside its branches so that you may still see each light’s ends.
Adding garland is perfect for White Christmas Trees. These additions offer style and color to the tree. They compliment the decoration style of your Christmas tree. My favorite garland is a thin ribbon with satin sheen reflecting the beads, lights and for its natural look. You may also add some dried berries and popcorn strung on a thread.
There is a wide variety of ornaments you can try to add to your Christmas tree for specific themes. The ornaments I mostly use are white and gold with some Christmas red and dark red for accent.
